Why did the district spend the money in purchasing large screen tv’s for training rooms at the district office that do not get used on a daily basis, whereas there are site classrooms that do not have this technology and could benefit from it. The site classrooms are used daily and the training rooms are not. Where is the equity in this? I know that the language department purchased large screen tv’s for use in the SEI classes, therefore only the SEI classes are able to have access to them while the non-SEI classes that still teach ELD do not have access to these items. Is the district in the process of purchasing large screen tv’s for the non-SEI classes to have equity?
